"The reason this place gets bad reviews is their check in reception is on the other side of Kyoto. It’s a really strange set up. I’ve been all over the world and never once come across this. It’s hard to find the reception, the address they gave me took me elsewhere. It’s hard with suitcases. The room is clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable. It’s is in a good area close to all the action in Gion. It’s a good place to stay if you can be bothered with the check in "

"My first hotel staying in Japan and luckily I chose the right one. It’s next to family mart so you can easily go over there and grab some personal items. This hotel has everything you need so you don’t necessarily pack so much stuffs for your trip, just save more spaces for souvenirs when you head back to your country. Room is good enough for 2 people, not too small but cozy. Staffs are so nice, if you need anything just go ahead and text them, they would love to answer back in a couple minutes....
